Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Experts Contribute to 2023 Youth to the NFL Sports Medicine Course

The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) will partner with the NFL to host the Youth to the NFL sports medicine course March 30 – April 1, 2023, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The course is designed to provide current solutions across the breadth of issues in the management of competitive and recreational football athletes in a team setting.

Several members of the UPMC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery will share specialized knowledge and experience on topics from the common to the complex, including Craig S. Mauro, MD, who will serve as one of this year’s course co-chairs. Programming will include meaningful lectures, group discussions, real-time case studies, and more.
