Dr. Duprex received his doctorate degree from Queen’s University Belfast in the United Kingdom. Dr. Duprex leads the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Vaccine Research (CVR), which facilitates and conducts studies focused on the development of diagnostics, therapeutics and vaccines for infectious diseases that pose risks to global public health and security. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology.
