Dr. DeGregorio received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine in Ohio. He completed a residency in internal medicine at UPMC, and a Master of Medical Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
