UPMC Altoona Welcomes its Newest Cardiologist

UPMC Altoona is pleased to announce the addition of Sumit Sohal, MD, MS, FACC, to the cardiology team at Blair Medical Associates. He is seeing patients at practice locations in Altoona and Ebensburg. Dr. Sohal received his medical degree from Government Medical College in Punjab, India. He then completed his fellowship in internal medicine at Ascension Saint Francis Hospital. Dr. Sohal then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Rutgers Health - Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Sohal is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
