The Heart Institute at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh recently hosted the first Center for Complex Transposition Symposium. This symposium brought together world-renowned pediatric and adult cardiologists and cardiac surgeons to discuss the diagnosis and treatment of complex transposition of the great arteries (TGA). In alignment with the educational goals of the Center for Complex Transposition at UPMC Children’s, this symposium served as a cornerstone in our mission to enhance early recognition, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, standardize care practices, and address systemic barriers associated with TGA diagnosis and management.
Below are the presentations from the 2024 Center for Complex Transposition Symposium.
