Silva Arslanian, MD, the Richard L. Day endowed professor of Pediatrics and Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, was recently interviewed by Healio and discussed all things pediatric endocrinology. Specifically, Dr. Arslanian talked about her ongoing research, the explosion of pharmacological treatments for adult and adolescent type 2 diabetes and obesity, as well as how she creates a work-life balance as a pediatrician.
