UPMC Children’s Pediatric Endocrinologist Silva Arslanian, MD, Receives ADA 2023 Outstanding Achievement in Clinical Diabetes Research Award

UPMC Children’s Division of Pediatric Endocrinology congratulates Silva Arslanian, MD, for receiving the American Diabetes Association 2023 Outstanding Achievement in Clinical Diabetes Research Award by the American Diabetes Association (ADA). This prestigious award is part of the annual National Scientific and Healthcare Achievement Awards from the ADA, which honor academics, health care providers, and educators who have contributed to substantial advances in the field of diabetes care and research.
Dr. Arslanian is the scientific director and principal investigator of the Center for Pediatric Research in Obesity and Metabolism, director of the Pediatric Clinical and Translational Research Center, and is the UPMC Richard L. Day Endowed Chair in Pediatrics, as well as professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
