Join us on October 4, 2024, for Clinical Advances of Multiple Sclerosis Diagnosis and Treatment, a one-day symposium highlighting innovations and advances in multiple sclerosis (MS) care.

Under the direction of nationally renowned leader in MS care and treatment, Ingrid Loma-Miller, MD, alongside co-director Emily Guerriero, PA, the symposium is centered around current state-of-the-art treatment methods and the future of MS care.

This symposium features focused and practical topics designed for advanced professionals involved in treating patients with MS and other neuro-immunological disorders including neurologists, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, physical therapists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and students. Learning Objectives

  • Identify lesions on imaging (MRIs) typical for MS diagnosis.
  • Differentiation of MS mimickers on imaging studies.
  • First line serum and CSF studies to order and how to interpret test results in the diagnosis of MS.
  • First line inpatient treatment of acute exacerbation/relapse of known MS patients.
  • First line inpatient treatment for newly diagnosed MS patients.
  • Utilize community resources to support mental health associated with newly diagnosed MS; socioeconomic issues related to treatment of MS.
  • Enroll patients in local, continental, and global research studies to enhance understanding of MS outcomes.
