Drs. Brett Kaufman and Gregory Kato each present from the 2016 UPMC Department of Medicine Grand Rounds. Dr. Kaufman provides an overview of genome editing , how it is applied to research, and discusses the state of the art of genome editing in medicine. Dr. Kato reviews gene therapy for sickle cell disease.
