In this CME, J. Alexander Viehman, MD discuss how to improve diagnostic skills in evaluating causes for recurrent UTls, decrease antimicrobial use by choosing non-antibiotic prophylaxis strategies for recurrent UTls, streamline care for patients by knowing when to refer for specialty care for recurrent UTls, identify patients eligible for vaginal estrogens to decrease risk of UTls, and reduce need for intravenous antibiotics by utilizing oral therapy for ESLB producing organisms in cystitis.
